Transmission fluid!!
Been searching and can’t find a lot on what type of fluid people are using.
So what transmission fluid is best for the V6 manual transmission? Thanks |

Yeah but I was seeing what other people were using besides what GM recommends. Which is the Dexron VI automatic transmission fluid

I changed mine to Royal Purple Syncromax and it was a good thing, never had much use for RP but the general consensus was RP or Redline and it made a difference. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have the 2018 SS manual. I just put Redline Racing's D6 ATF. I drive my car year round in Canada. Good performance oil as this is a full-synthetic oil. Also my rear diff is using the 75W90 gear oil also from Redline Racing, gotta be careful with the rear diff especially if you have a limited slip. GM's Dexron 6 and rear diff are mineral based oil (non-synthetic)
