Front Camera Kit installed from Gen5DIY.com
Ok guys, finally got my original HMI reprogrammed and returned back to me today. Took a little longer than I expected to get it back but just got it installed and everything works perfect now! So nice being able to touch the info screen for the front camera option and seeing what's in front of you. Placed the camera at the very bottom of the grill, you can hardly tell it's there. I highly recommend this mod to all Gen6 Camaro's to prevent damage to your front splitter while trying to park. System will for sure pay for itself if you have to replace your splitter.
Ofer at (Gen5DIY.com) is having some really good prices during their Black Friday sale. I also just purchased their plug & play eyebrow light harness today (on sale). It keeps the eyebrow light on all the time, even with the turn signal blinking. Make sure to check out all their products! Now I will be removing my front bumper to add the Oracle lighting kits along with the new eyebrow light harness.

I talked to them yesterday. I’m going to get my module to them next week for this upgrade. I take it you had no problems with the removal and install?

I had bought a new HMI and had it programed to my car. However, it didn't work as I kept getting "Theft Detected" in big red letters and nothing worked. So had to send in my original HMI to get unlocked. Now everything works great. Yes it is a little bit a pain in the ass on the removal and install but I'm finally happy.

Sorry to hear that, I have allot of their stuff and only had a problem with one afterburner LED on my 2013 and they sent me a new one. My lights for my 2018 are heading their way for upgrade along with the fog lights, ghosted side marker lights are on backorder. Will see how everything goes. Thanks for the heads up because it's not fun like you said pulling and replacing parts all the time!
QUOTE=Torquem;10366941]What lighting kit did you get from Oracle? Just a heads up that everything I have bought from them is pure garbage. They have good customer service and I could send stuff back in no problem. But, I was getting tired of removing / reinstalling / removing / shipping etc. Just trying to save you some headaches if you have other options. [/QUOTE]

I thought it was easy. Fold back carpet, unplug, and remove. Then mount camera, run wires, plug everything in, cover with carpet. Specifically what were the problem parts? I am going to have my HMI reprogrammed.
