Send Directions to Nav
Once your free subscription runs out, does this option still work with the mychevy app if you have nav built in and not the onstar?

I installed an IO6 HMI and since the Onstar trial expired I have been able to send turn-by-turn directions to the car. I would love to able to figure a hack to allow a full route to be sent.

Yes. I let my OnStar subscription pass and still use the Send to In-Dash Navigation option from the MYChevy app.

I have the IO6 HMI update as well. Onstar expired and not able to send navigation from mychevy app. it tells me to shop a plan or call onstar. Why is that?

Well, I do have the basic plan remaining. It allows door lock/unlock lights/horn and sending addresses. I have a 2017 and it is active for 5yrs. Sorry about the confusion.
