General GMAX RS
My 16 SS is due for some new tires. I hear good things about the General GMAX RS. Good price, long wear, great performance dry and wet. General is owned by Continental so there must be some technology sharing.
If you switch from run flats what do you do for a backup? |

I am still on my Goodyear's. I purchased a spare tire kit from Modern Spare. I am going with the BFG's when my Goodyear's are done

I had the GMax-03 on my 2011 2LT. I loved them. I am not sure how the newer ones are.
I put the Conti Extreme Contact DWS06 on my 2017 SS and I love them.

Looking at Tirerack's review of them, they should be a winner. I'm running the AS-05 and they're pretty awesome. Edged out the BFG Comp-2 A/S in a Tirerack review recently too.
