1. Skip-shift. I bought an eliminator and solved that problem.
2. Interior is a bit "rattle-y"--I've already diagnosed and fixed a few of them. 3. Terrible jack points. Had to buy aftermarket lift pads. Shouldn't have to do that. 4. Alcantara--hated the OEM alcantara wheel and shift knob. Replaced with regular leather wrapped versions and much happier. 5. HUD--I find it pointless and I don't use it. I wish they'd made it optional so I could've saved a couple hundred bucks. 6. Wheels/Tires--I don't really like the stock 1LE wheels, and the stock tires are useless outside of the track to me. I had to buy a second set of wheels and all season tires. Wouldn't it make more sense to supply high quality all season tires stock and let people decide if they want a dedicated race wheel/tire setup? 7. Paint--its terrible. It scratches/chips if you look at it wrong. I was thinking about spending major bucks to get Xpel, etc. But I decided against it just because the paint is so bad. Why spend a bunch of money to protect something that sucks in the first place? Therefore, I'm going to just let it get destroyed and in a few years spend the money to get it corrected, or, wrapped, or, quality painted if I want to keep the car for a long time. 8. Drive modes--I don't like how you can't set it to always start up in a particular mode. It forces you to revert to tour mode. 9. Gas mileage--the manual gets way worse gas mileage than the A8. Amazing that even in spite of all these flaws, every time I drive it I think to myself "I love this car so much" because it really is more than the sum of its parts. |

I doubt the auto is getting much better mileage, this depends on how you shift the M6 and what gears. Lots of 2nd gear pulls will guzzle. Life is too short to use all seasons in the summer time.

No since the 1LE is a track package. It's a car meant to go on the track and thus it is setup for it. It's on you if you bought it and weren't going to use the car for its intended purpose. Could have gone for the regular SS which summer tires are more daily driver friendly( except in the winter/cold of course). |

Not disappointing but something’s are a bit laughable. For instance, after many years of trying to perfect rev matching with my C5, buy a car with electronic rev matching, only to find out, the peddle placement is perfect for doing it manually. *laughs*

Well, I guess if you want the suspension to always revert back to comfort, then run it in track all the time? Otherwise, I like sport so I don’t have to deal with that.

+1. At least in Sport mode, it will stay there and not revert to Tour when shutting down and restarting. Maybe Track mode reverts to Tour, I don't know. I don't run Track mode on the street, but that's just me.

Considering the overall car, price, and capabilities I don’t feel there is anything I would list as something I would change. It’s a way more cost-effective track toy than my Porsche GT3RS models.

"Let's do nothing well.. just everything sorta OK... and call them.. ALL SEASONS!" All season tires are the most mediocre tires at any given task ever invented.. they should just cease to exist IMO.

Only the throttle mapping gets reset if you hardcode the other settings. Sport goes to sport. Everything else goes to tour. But if you hard code the settings you prefer then only the throttle mapping changes.

In track mode, you have no cruise control, so if you are REALLY running around in track ALL the time, you aren't using the cruise control, and I have a hard time believing people are driving around all the time without using cruise control at least a little, so having it revert to tour if you shut it off in track is just not important to me. If I use it in track, I will revert it back so I can have cruise control when I'm "finished".
