So a 15-20 rwhp gain with headers isnt worth it on these platforms, I guess I will have to disagree.
Then again you have to pay to play with any hobby. The engines are getting more efficient and more powerful, the manufactures are dang near wringing every bit of power they can while staying with in the legal compliance they are mandated to as well. You have to realize in the end, it is the sum of all of the gains. Some of those small gains will add up in the long run.

I think its worth if your building a motor package well above stock, boosted, big cube stroker, the stock manifold still are restrictive to serious Hp. Otherwise the stock exhaust manifolds are pretty dam good. Probably not worth it on a bone stock motor. I made over 700 rwhp with stock manifolds and exhaust.
