By the way, this is EXACTLY why I'm a cat-less proponent in every thread. Yes it's louder, yes it might smell, yes its raspy. But you get piece of mind, and with the right Mufflers, you'll be fine. This is also why I recommended ARH only for this car up until the Kooks X was made last month because you want a LONG SYSTEM that goes from the exhaust ports on the block to the differential.

I was thinking an aftermarket X-pipe was already there. Time to complete this full exhaust and ditch the factory stuff. Corsa just released a new Race Spec with double X-pipe that would be a good option too. $817

Called Kooks today. $1000 for their X system. smh. Well, $1200 direct, but their dealers can get 10% off so.

That's the wrong X Pipe...That's for a C7 Corvette. Corsa's X for the ZL1 is 14788 and is $800 retail.

The Corsa is not what you want though because it WILL NOT bolt up to the Kooks Headers without cutting and custom fabrication, also it's 2.75".

Just order the Kooks X pipe that will bolt on right. Get the part number for the X pipe you need and post it, I might be able to get a better price on it.

Hey guys. Clarification on my auto paddle up shifting. This from Matt today.


Scott Been it only does that when the high MPH is reached which can even be after it ranks on limiter.. the 6-7 is actually right at 6950, that one is good but I doubt they all are. That’s gm stalk lol.



So, he's telling me it's happening, but it's not doing it on all the gears.

I am aware, but notice how it attaches. Not correct for LT Headers. Compare it to Kooks X pipe pictures and you can see that the Headers both dump out at more even points and they're slide-over-and-clamp and not one clamp and one bracket or whatever you want to call the passenger side connection.

Haha. That's funny right there. Trade in engineered mufflers with zero drone and great sound control for some blatty glass-pack-esque junk just there to do about nothin'. Nope. Get the X pipe and that's it. I'm not sure if it necks down to 2.75" but that's what your Corsa axle back is so it's going to need some kind of adapter or special clamps, if it doesn't neck down.
