How long could that thing idle to burn 1/4 tank of gas, 1/2 day????
Something is fishy here. I don't even think it is possible to burn 1/4 tank in three miles with you foot to the floor. I'm guessing somebody wanted some preomo-gas.

What kind of body work did you have done? Possibly replaced fuel sensors so its not reading correctly?

Yeah, agree 100%. I'm thinking no way to burn 1/4 tank by idling. You're talking 5 gallons. That's hours worth of idling. That wouldn't be great for the engine either, would it?

you didn't happen to picture the engine drive time and idle time? that would tell you if it was left idling.

Theft would be the preferable choice for the good of your car.

Did they also turn off the cruise control and switch to Touring mode?

Yes to both. Dropped off in Sport. And I did have to turn cruise control back on since I never turn it to off. The passenger side quarter and some inner wheel well panels were replaced. Pretty near the fuel tank and possibly lines. So, makes sense fuel may have been drained. Won’t know for
sure unless I ask.
