Corsa sounds better IMO and has nicer looking tips. Don’t pay the asking price online. Call around and get a few quotes.

You won't be disappointed with either one, both are good systems.

I preferred the sound of Borla. I have the cat-back ATAK on my truck and the S-type axle back on the Camaro.

It might help if you posted what car with what options you are putting it on? Then you can get feedback from others who already did what you want to do.

Tomorrow I will be adding the Borla mid pipe part #60606 to my factory NPP system. I think you also have the factory NPP. I could not justify changing out the muffler that paid extra for. So changing the mid pipe was the better option for me at this time.

I had always maintained that disposition as well--until I swapped it out. The tonal differences were plenty worth it.

More directly towards this thread, I really, really don't like the rasp you get with many of the systems out there and opted to go for more of a classic sound, rather than the super-loud, raspy tone you get from Gen IV/V LS/LT engines with straight through designed mufflers.

I'm going with the Borla ATAK system, since they have an option that keeps the NPP functionality.

Hooker Blackheart dual transverse is a real nice system has a nice deep tone and no drone definitely worth checking out I’ve just installed the full system on my NPP car and it sounds awesome

V8 or V6.

The OEM NPP on the V8 sounds pretty dam good but just my opinion....

Corsa or BOrla for an exotic-type of exhaust
FLowmaster for a true Merica V8 sound

The Borla Atak or S-Type are both excellent. If you don't plan to do headers and what not, I'd go Atak. If you do plan for headers and/or no cats, the Atak is a little over the top for me. Great tone, just loud.

Let me know if we can help.

All the best,

Doing this as well in fall when it's cooler out. Found the pipe for $621 delivered and no tax. Not about to pay the prices for axle or cat back systems w/NPP. That said, I have fuse pulled anyway...and from what a couple good folks have said this setup provides a nice sound bump.
