2010REDSS - I'm about to jump off this cliff of getting seats (Sparco Evo III), A roll Bar, Rear seat delete, and 6 point harness. My big question for you is, it looks like you had the bar and belts using the OEM seats for a while. How much difference is there with the proper seats? Part of me feels like getting racing seats will hold you in better but so will getting a decent seat belt setup. Maybe the seats are not needed once you have the roll bar and proper belts. Care to post up your thoughts?

I'd also like to know how you attached the harness lap belt while retaining the Recaros and OEM belts. (Before the Driven install)

I fabricated some tank plates that were held in place by the rear bolts on the factory seat brackets. Bolted the lap belts to them.

Huge different with the full race seat and the full (in my case 5pt Harness). While I made the Recaros work for a few events - as per my post above - I only had the shoulder and lap belts in place. The 5th point (lower belt) was not in use as you can't use a 5th or 6th belt with the factory seat of course - so harness performance was degraded.

If you are going to track the car significantly, you will be glad you made that jump!
