At first I liked the look of the OEM splash guards, but the ZL1 addons are practically invisible from the side. So I went with those and glad I did.

Glow Tie is cool and I considered one. There are a ton of bow tie variants out there and room to get creative and do your own thing. I have a friend with a Gen 5 with an American Flag theme that has a red white and blue bow tie. In the picture below you have to zoom in tight to see the detail.

Personally, I had bow ties made with a carbon fiber look center and orange outline, using the same color code of orange as the Brembo calipers. Matches the stripes perfectly.

RPI Designs painted it.

GM will send you a build packet with all the info. You might have to contact GM chat/customer service to expedite. Mention “50th Anniversary Edition Portfolio” when talking to them. It’s a pretty cool package.

As you wait for the package, you can check the registry https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...n1dc8/htmlview and see where your serial number falls among the ones listed. Might not get you exact, but should get you close.

Guy thought I had a Vette (clearly typed it was a Camaro), checked with his manager, then OH it is a Camaro.

Yes, they began being sent out January 2017. No can't expedite.

Keep an eye on it. If after about 2 months no package. Hit up chat again.

The process is usually automated with no interaction needed by us the owners. But sometimes it was needed for a few owners here.

Here you go Nifty50, this is from when I installed it, I can get some better shots but it's been relentlessly raining recently so it may take me some time.

It has not been smooth sailing with the spoiler though. It came with no tape and one of the bolts wouldn't tighten because the threads were improperly installed. I ended up taping it down and tightening with the remaining bolts which worked. Then there was a clearance problem and the outside edge of the spoiler smacked the quarter and made 2 tiny paint chips. Ended up putting compression tape under the spoiler which solved the issue.

I still love the spoiler because the GM blade isn't tall enough for me but just wanted to let you know.

The spoiler is a pain to get off as it has tons of tape but no issues with the stripe.
