LT4 HPFP shortage

Might not be in the right spot but does anyone have any idea why there is such a shortage of GM/ACDELCO LT4 HPFP's?

Anyone experiencing failures with them? Or just a huge demand for upgrading?

Getting pretty hard to find and the ones that are available places are jumping up the price.

I recently got one from weaponX, maybe they can help you out. JRE seems to always have them too.

I called Ted's shop and they didn't have one on the shelf. The one on WeaponX part number is different 12673410 vs 12679090 so I wasn't sure if that was an earlier make. I've called Vegenace, Phastek, JRE, and locals.

Whats the average price of a LT4 HPFP? I have a low mileage one i could part with, maybe even some injectors...

there is a new LT4 hpfp and injectors for sale in the classifieds...at least there was, maybe it sold.

They should have them at Pace Performance as well as the Lt4 injectors, just as for Greg.

Both these part numbers: 12673410 vs 12679090 take you to yet another part number 12688607.

I've seen 600's to 1500 (dealer wanting full price because of shortage). Looking for new for my shop. The one I had was faulty and is being replaced under warranty but the dealer he purchased it from said he wasn't expecting any until June 21st because of a shortage.

I found one local and we are trying to get GM to pull it back from them to honor the warranty. Won't find out until today if it works.

Then we started to see a few different part numbers out there for the same pump which makes me wonder if there is an issue and they have revisions.

Should know more today.

I don't think we have had any problems getting them at Vengeance. Sometimes there is a short wait.
