Changed transmission oil to RP Synchromax
No problem with the change, but, what is interesting is that I drained about 3.85 quarts out of it.

How much were you able to put it? I believe it’s 4 was right?
How does shifting feel after?

3.65 is ‘full’. Manual is pretty excitable about not overfilling.
It states to fill until level reaches 1/8” from fill port. Or...fill until it weeks out and then remove 8oz.

However, I estimate I put back in around 3.75 quarts. The shifting might be a little smoother, but not by much. This transmission has always shifted OK for me, but, I shift pretty casually most of the time. Main reason for the change is I prefer RP oils. Next is to switch the differential over to RP. --KLG--

Good to know. I'm switching over to that fluid here in the next month or so, along with a lot of other fluids.

Did anyone find out if synchromax will breakdown the blocker rings? The case says atf only on the side of it??

switched mine out last month. been really great. Some claim the "notchy feeling" will go away, as I havn't really experienced any difference (maybe on colder mornings) other than that. I like it. capacity is pretty explicit
