Wtf. ZL1 sold
Well, I had an agreement to purchase a ZL1 tomorrow and the owner either decided to keep it or sold it to someone else. (The former I think). I even offered to put a deposit on it this past weekend.
Sooooo anyone knows of a blue M6 zl1 with low miles for low 50s...please pass along. I know there’s always ‘another one’ but I thought I was set. ![]()

Sucks for you, but in the seller's defense, I've sold a lot of vehicles and countless other things on various sites for over 20 years - and I can't tell you how many SURE THING deals were backed out on by the buyer because they had second thoughts, can't get the money, wife didn't want to do it, etc etc. Name a reason, I've heard it, handshake or not - so unless money and papers have changed hands, the guy has every right to sell if someone comes along who is ready to buy right then.
The best way to avoid this is to work out with the seller ahead of time that when you meet to check out/drive the car, the very next place you'll both go will be the bank so you can get him or his bank paid right then. That way he knows you're serious, brings all paperwork required, has a ride back to wherever he is from arranged, and you already have money lined up (aka you aren't wasting his time) and if he agrees, you know he's a serious seller and not like these people on see on message boards putting out "feelers" for a car sale. Have a couple copies of bills of sale printed up and ready, and be sure you're both ready to complete the transaction that day before even meeting. Saves everyone a lot of headaches and wasted time. Good luck!

I offered to leave a deposit and he said it was not necessary. Seemed like a good guy...we had a plan to meet a the bank three days later. I dunno. It’s annoying
