I was kind of wondering that too, they look bigger to me but I know the RPO code was not for the 6 piston. Maybe the color makes them look bigger.

Yea, I thought they looked bigger also. When I was searching for wheels, it asks which brakes you have, for clearance. Now I am looking into the 6 piston calipers and caliper paint to match.

Will the 6 piston calipers fit with our stock wheels?

I would say they will, but I'm not 100% sure. I would do it if they made FIFTY painted/logo calipers in 6 piston.

There are 3 different brakes.
1. OEM 2016 SS:
Front: 13.6" (345 mm) x 1.1811" (30 mm) 2-pc rotor w/ 4-piston caliper
Rear: 13.3" (339 mm) x 1.02362" (26 mm) 2-pc rotor w/ 4-piston caliper
2. Brembo® 14.6” (370 mm) x 1.3” x (34mm) 2-pc rotor w/ 6-piston caliper vented and slotted DuralifeTM rotors.
3. 405mm

Here you can download a template How to measure wheels for proper brake clearance

Ric,
I think we have a problem. not that I am color blind all the cables of the tail light are black. I will make a pic of the plug and try to describe the pin definition. The LED ones are smaller than the one to the bulb.

You'll probably have to wait a year or two before someone wants to sell. That vert in Texas that I sent a link to you is still on the website and has every thing you wanted. Did you actually e-mail him or call? Good luck

I haven't actually opened up the door cavity yet, but if I can find an always hot wire, if not one that is switched, I'll add my own plunger switch.
If wanting an always on, then go with the connection to your dash lighting. That is the easy one and the one people often go to by "mistake" that ends up having their puddle lights on all the time and then they burn out. That is what happened with my first puddle light install by a friend...have a replacement set, just have not had time to install and get corrected. As well have not gotten the FIFTY logo ones installed yet....hoping to get done in a week or two. Our plan will have installed with the dome light connection, as only time want them on is really for that couple of moments when door is open. Keep in mind (am sure you did, but others may not know)...If you leave on for longer than 30 seconds at a time you will burn out the color quickly.

Thanks, I know it is a long shot, but you never know. $54k for the one in Texas is beyond reasonable in my opinion.

I bet there is a circuit inside the door, and you don't need to cross over into the body. It's always nice to know before hand, but I'll have to wait for better weather to explore, I don't have room inside the garage.
I know about the fading, thanks. I made custom ones for the 45th, also. Photo slides hold up pretty good. I get a few extra slides for a few dollars each. They are easy to change out.

I bought inexpensive projectors with stock gobo's. I made my own design and had color slides made at www.exslides.com , and swapped them out. Remove the original gobo to see what size your image needs to be. I fit 2 on one slide.
You can make puddle lights with any image, very easily, and for less than $50 total! I used GMs logo, not my own artwork, so you may replicate it if you like, but these are not for sale.
