Yes! I’ve always liked the turn signal indicator separate from the brake lights.

Someone could probably wire it up that way though.

I've thought about it. Not sure what hardware modification would be required. Would need to dig deeper in the schematics. I've seen "extractor" modules to drive everything. Might need to wait a while for warrantee to expire. Still have the original taillights to work with.

Just thoughts thrown around.

Honestly, not my favorite with respect to design. Not knocking it, to each their own.

Here is a link to tail lights. Maybe someone will have soon some LED‘s for it i.e turn lights. I know it is your braking light but our turn signals.

Yeah, ever since I saw the European version I was wondering if that would be possible here in the states. That was my thought, change the reverse light to be the indicator and then figure out how to get the reverse light in the lower facia (just like what you have). Similar to the Cadillac sedans. It'll take some work I'm sure, and probably some European sourced parts.
What I'm curious about is if the wiring is different between the US and EU specs with respect to the taillights.

Ric,
it shouldn’t be a big deal as we have the same lights. Just the wiring is a bit different. If you want I can check the color code for you (when it’s a bit warmer)

No rush (or worries).

I'm thinking the harnesses are similar, if not identical. Saves money making fewer variations. So it would be just poking around to see where things are. I have schematics so I can dig through them. Just need to make sure my glasses and tracing skills are up to snuff.

Glasses, now that IS something I can do/help with. Aside from being the crazy 50th guy who finds all kinds of stuff.

I just give you the colors we use over here and you check with yours. Yeah the thing with the glasses. Did I mention that I am color blind.

Anyway next week I will get my steering wheel off and than in march I am back on it, in it, at it. You know what I mean.

Agreed. A bit too much going on. Also, don't feel the need to copy the Mustang sequential thing. I prefer the GM smoked taillights personally.
