OMG. Do either of you actually hear yourselves? Get off your high horses already.

I wish it was a high horse, but it’s been a reality here. Don’t know what to tell you.

not exactly the same...you are forcing the engine to ingest those molecules by injecting them into the intake tract. It may not read is boost but the engine has no choice but to ingest the n20 that was mechanically forced into the intake.

I'm not stating any opinions nor am I trying to change your mind. I'm stating what it actually is by definition. YOUR definition or what the definition means to YOU personally doesn't mean a thing. The actual definition is what matters. Nitrous does not compress air nor does it deliver or force that compressed air into the engine at all.

I consider Wikipedia to be a good source. But the link you have is a bit contradictory. You're using it as an example only because they have it listed. But the first 3 sentences basically confirm that it is not.

There is plenty of publications that support "my" definition too. Have a nice day.

Actually, you have 650+707 for 1,357 horses. That's pretty high

Hey Blaq, playing devils advocate here, say you were going to enter a competitive racing series and they had two classes. NA and FI, what class does a nitrous car run in? LOL (This post is made in jest/we need sarcasm font)

whether you put a hose down someones throat and tape their mouth shut or you smother them and pour a bucket of water over their face as they gasp for air... you will have FORCED them to ingest water.

That's a good point. In prostock rules. The motor has to be all motor NA. No forced induction systems allowed which NHRA themselves include NOS in that rule.
