It doesn't matter what anyone "thinks" would be more appropriate. Like it or not, the standard mustang GT is the current competitor to the SS. As for the performance packs, the previous model year PP really didn't line up well with the 1LE, but it's all that was available. For the MY18, it's obvious that the PP2 was gunning for the 1LE while the PP1 is more suited for your daily driver upgrade. Again, there is nothing that says one car HAS to align with another....but the lowest level of each will always line up and will be fighting each-other for sales, regardless of performance. |

Jesus you guys argue the dumbest of things.
If you're having a dick sizing contest then the PP1 and the 1/2SS would be more closely matched. If you're the average consumer looking for a good cheap V8 to tune out or commute with, the base GT and 1SS are two. |

Or for people who can't afford anything other than a base GT. I like how everyone in a base GT talks about how they don't need this option or that option but then when they get a little money in their pockets they all of a sudden bypass the base models to get the very same options they didn't need before.

I'm also interested to see how Motor Trend likes the GT.

Plus it'll give us more proof that we can rub int heir faces. Even now they're trying to find every excuse as to why the GT lost. From tires to options etc. They're looking for everything to argue the reality that it is not faster than the SS and is nowhere near the level of a ZL1, lol!!

It will be a good direct comparison. Plus, I like seeing the Camaro win.

Oh please. A month or so ago all the FF (Ford Fanboys) would have claimed they were going to win virtually all categories. It's only due to info in the recent weeks that reality is starting to set in for you guys...MY18 GT is a big improvement from the previous years, but nowhere near what was hoped/hyped.
