Yeah I’m sure it will. Especially with some weight pulled. We got a guy in the 10s with completely stock exhaust so GT shouldn’t have a problem

LOL, it's boring over there because most of them probably had strokes after the Edmunds H2H

I heard they had to put a new sub-forum over there kinda like a safety room for all the depressed Mustang boys. It's a safe place for them where they won't have to read words like "Edmunds", "12.6", "Camaro SS", or any of our screen names. They have special counselors there to talk to any of the upset little guys who might be of harm to self. And they can share all their hopes and feelings about maybe a day coming when the GT won't be a POS and their dreams about the GT500 coming to save them like the 2nd coming of Christ. Poor guys. We should take it easy on them. They're a bit too fragile for us to be picking on...

Speaking of talking out your ass, when are you going to address the 2 videos I posted of bone stock (including tires) 2018 Mustangs running 12.0x and 12.1x @117 and @ 119 MPH?

Blaqwhole is hanging his hat on a 12.6 with a terrible 0-60 non PP car (gearing alone is a major loss in the non PP setup) with lots of idiotic cosmetic options (price as tested for 'premium' with no PP for edmunds test was $49k)...further how you launch the car is so variable with all the ddrive modes and RPM settings........Will his head explode when even a mainstream mag tests a PP vehicle with less options and rips off a 12.2-12.3? I know he ignores the 11.8, 12.0x and 12.1x already posted by private owners so I suppose he'll ignore these too in favor of edmunds laughably poor runs in a poor setup. 0-60 in 4.6 is hilariously bad.

ps: just watched the video they mention the Mustang is optioned out (with everything not performance related but adding useless weight of course) and the camaro was not. Another poor test standard they applied. Edmunds is great when your wife wants a minivan to tote the kids around in and wants a review. I wouldn't look to edmunds for pushing performance cars.

BTW I'd like to go on record saying isn't it awesome that base cars with no performance add ons and lots of cosmetic junk are running mid 12s and trolls like Blaqwhole are laughing it up..Shows how far these cars have come. I'd love to be in a 15-17 Mustang running high 12s low 13s for its looks and handling alone, let alone a very low 12 second 2018 GT.....Just amazing cars.

Personally I don't care for the Camaro's looks (judging by sales I'm not alone) and I feel the Gen 6 looks way too close to gen 5.....But I fully respect it as a performance monster on straight and twisties

FYI: The Camaro in that road test was a 2SS, which is the heaviest SS coupe configuration you can buy. It's not like they selected the lightest weight Camaro SS they could have for their test, which would have been a 1SS coupe. The Camaro also did not have the performance exhaust OR the auto trans options, which the Mustang did have.

I generally agree though, I would have liked to see a GT Perf Pack car (manual trans) compared to a 1SS manual to see how they compare. Auto vs. auto would be icing on the cake.

Blaq is laughing because the last two weeks the amount of dick waving and bullshit from the Mustang guys has been clogging our threads. Then Edmunds posts the A10 can't beat the 6M SS. Laughing is well deserved. The broken halfshaft was hilarious. The "tune and tire will beat a ZL1 even more laughable. The 12.6 auto time is just icing on the cake really.

Blaqwhole. I don't think Zl1's have anything to worry about. haha. These numbers are a joke. E85/intake/tune. They gonna need a blower to keep up. So, about that............e85 tune/tire combo and the '18 GT will run with Zl1's. Bwahahahahaha.

I spent most of my money on fast cars, faster women and booze... the rest I just wasted....
