If the $ is not an issue for purchase or maintenance, Lambo. Exotic. Nuff said

If I had the means to afford a car in the $200 grand range, I'd be looking at a black onyx McLaren 570S. Just something about the McLaren that gets my heart pumping.

I have a new ZR1 on order and I'm not paying a markup. Just FYI.
And, it's going straight to Road Atlanta where it will proceed to pass every other production car out there. Yeeeaaaa boooiiiii. |

I recently considered two cars you wouldn't normally compare and the ZL1 beat out a used V10 R8. Since the Vette and Lambo both only have two seats I would go with the Lambo. It is hard to say if the Vette would hold its value with the mid engine right around the corner. The Lambo has more usable power since it is AWD.
Vette<Lambo

1st world decisions...so difficult! Lambo all the way, the transmission is unbelievable and the ZR1 still looks like a base C7 to the uninformed public. I love vettes, but if you take the $$ difference out of the equation it’s definitely tilted heavily to the Lamborghini.

Very tough one for me but I'd probably go Lamborghini. The Huracan will not be walked away from, and it does 10.6 and 2.5 0-60s or lower, it's also a GREAT platform to make a ridiculous straight line weapon out of with a Supercharger or Twin Turbo kit if you REALLY want to beat ANYTHING else on the road (Ok maybe in Houston you might be 2nd).
I've been in a Huracan, and the interior is extremely well put together. I don't think anyone under 6'2" will have any issue getting in a coupe either. A Spyder has significantly less leg room and head room with the top up. That said, have a look at McLaren's, specifically the 570S...They're even faster than Huracan's up top (60+) and absolutely rip all the way to 200 MPH (Seen it done, nothing is beating McLaren in the over 100 MPH production car area, that goes for all of their cars. They're perfectly designed for aero and have boost by gear and are WAY underrated power wise from the factory). Now the ZR1 will be a monster. No doubt with a few mods it can make 1000+ HP with that giant blower. It will already probably be a sub 7 minute 'Ring car (Hopefully) and it will no doubt shred anything on the track and it will get the wow factor of being the Halo Vette for quite a few years go come, but I still think you'd get more wow factory if you had a Lamborghini/Ferrari/McLaren. |

The zr1 will out perform the lambo easily in all types of competition. For the money. Vette all the way. Unless you just need a lambo

It’s the age old question??? Show or go!!! Lol. My friend has a Lamborghini and never drove it. To me, most people buy Lamborghinis to look like hot sh!ts. I have to say, the Mclaren hits all the hot buttons for me. I would drive all 3 plus a Ferrari and buy what made me happy. Bottom line.

ZR1.
I don't think it'll be quite 160k (even with options), and the markup is only if you choose to pay it. There will be dealers, like the ZL1 1LE that will not charge that. Then, there's the long-term...I don't think I even want to know what the repair bill might be on a Huracán if something goes wrong, let alone simple oil changes, etc...That is, if you use this hypothetical car. If it's a garage queen, and you have the $$...get whatever you think looks nicer.
