You should be using the one that goes in the groove around the mouth if the tb bolt holes were opened to fit the manifold

Can you start it and spray starter fluid around various areas of the intake and narrow down the area the leak is?

I ordered the combo MSD and 95mm and opted for the ported TB for the price I was sold. After opening the box something wasn’t quite right with the throttle body but you associate convinced me all was fine and normal. So reluctantly we installed all the parts and the tuning nightmare began. Car bucks and kicks all low end issues was almost un drivable without manually drivving a automatic until moderate speeds were achieved. After days of looking for what was possibly wrong the throttle body was replaced with a non ported one and the car drove fine luckily a buddy had one to try. So now I am stuck with a $300 dollar paperweight that Ticks won’t take back even though it doesn’t work properly. Since they baited me into using it. So I contacted Ticks several times and the best they could was offer to sell me another one at full price. So buyer beware i asked a simple request that they include the possibility of significant tuning issues with the TB if you are looking for max performance statement should I port my TB. And of course it is still not updated 6weeks later so if Tick is interested in getting it right please let me know.

I believe that if you ordered the ported TB you have to tune it

Car is tuned for MSD intake ,Headers,E85 and CAI. Works like a dream on a unported 95mm (borrowed) or the stock one which I’m stuck with for now.
