Bike for a Super Charger

Soooo here is my dilemma ....if you can call it that. I currently have a 2007 Mean Streak 1600 Special Edition motorcycle, since the SS has come into my life

I have found myself going out on nice days in that instead of taking my bike out. The question I have been throwing around now for about 2 months is this....Sell the bike , maybe get 6-7 thousand for it and dump that into a Vortech to push some serious HP in my baby.

Hmmmm decisions decisions....any ideas just to throw around

Even though last 3 track days have been with the car and only 1 with the bike in a couple years ;(

Anyway...nothing feels like the bike through the twisties!

That is true, although my old man has offered to buy it from me for $10,000 just so he can get it crushed....parents hate nice weekends when they know im out on it even though i live 50 miles away lol.

I wouldn't do it. My bike is my DR - Daily Rider. I get lots of fun out of it and my Beast will never do 0..60 as fast!

My NA engine will stay that way, for a little while longer.

My bike is also paid for!

However, my bike isn't valued at the price for ANY blower! :(

Man, I had 2 bikes, 3 if you include the dirt-bike. Never had a nice car to modify but once I got my car I never-ever took my bikes out. After about a year of them sitting I sold all of them and put some money into my car. Just never even had the urge to drive the bikes like I did my car. I would recommend you do this if you feel the same way. Hobbies/passions come and go it seems. If the car is your priority now then go for it, I don't think you will regret it. I don't!

lol yeah this is a tough one, might wait till the end of the summer and see how much I actually take the bike out..if not then vroom vroom for the SS

id probably get rid of your bike if i was in your shoes. it sort of fills the same role as the ss in my eyes. i have a dirtbike and couldnt let that go for a sc because it and the camaro fill two roles.
