Corsa Extreme (non NPP) vs AWE Touring Full Build

Hi All,

I have a 2018 Camaro Zl1 1LE with a built motor (heads, Cam, pistons etc) with ARH Long System (headers and Midpipes) with Pre NPP Corsa Extreme Axleback

It's come time to try and quiet the car down a bit as its no longer track only car.

I have purchased an AWE touring axle back to replace the Corsa Extreme.

Is the AWE touring any quieter? or is my only hope to go New NPP Corsa Axleback??

I doubt the AWE Touring is any quieter than the Corsa. The AWE is awesome and I own it as well. But it’s NOT quiet, especially with headers. The AWE is great at making sure there is no drone. It’s just not quiet doing it lol

Best I got lol. This is 2” primary headers, AWE Touring Resonated catback. And that’s it.

I had the AWE touring axleback on my Camaro and ended up taking it off and putting the stock NPP back on. It was so loud I put Killmat sound deadening thru out the back seat and trunk but, was still too loud for my build. If you have a built engine with headers you might want an NPP exhaust. Everyone has different ears for sound tolerance.

Try the Stainless Works Legend exhaust. I heard good things about it and it's NPP. It seems to quiet things down considerably when switching between valves open and closed modes.

What did you say? I can't hear you. I had the Corsa Xtreme on but it was too quiet, so I put the AWE track back on.

Corsa also makes a "Sport" Non NPP muffler which is quieter than the "Extreme".

I would love to hear the Corsa sports. I hate the sound of the extremes and have searched for videos of a 6th gen with the sports with no luck.

Really the stock suitcase axle-back is the only way to quiet the monster down.
