Resin droppings on paint
Not sure what this is or how to go about removing it. It looks like fiberglass resin got dropped on the paint and it’s stuck. There’s a spot on the right where the previous owner tried to pick it off and it chipped the paint. I can’t scratch it off with my nail. Tried an eraser wheel and nothing. Tried a piece of 60 grit and it seemed to work but that’s to risky. Any thoughts on how to get this off?

I've had very good luck getting all sorts of contaminants off paint using 3M Adhesive Remover. It's a solvent that is completely paint safe. Not cheap, but effective. Might be worth a try.

Yep, that's the one. I buy it in the quart size and it lasts me a few years. I'd saturate a rag and rest it on the stain for a few minutes to really give it time to work. I've never damaged paint with it.

Got the stuff and started using it. It’s knocked some of the thin lines down but the big spots are stubborn. Gonna take a while to get this all gone.
