6th Gen Camaro Steering Wheel Teardown
Hey guys, for a project that I am working on, I did a video on the complete teardown if the steering wheel. I wanted to share this for anyone in the future who wants to take apart or replace certain components on their steering wheel.
Enjoy. https://youtu.be/DrtidJxt-BQ |

Thanks a lot for the educational content, I learned a lot watching your video.
The level of detail that goes into designing and manufacturing even these small plastic parts is astounding.

Agreed! It's also quite frustrating because the left and right are so close to being interchangeable that their designs would actually benefit from slight tweaks. But since they don't it makes things a bit more difficult. For my project at least. This video is really something that would be great for someone who buys a used steering wheel and wants to give it a deep cleaning. Or perhaps an aftermarket wheel and needs to transplant all of their switches and harness over. |
