Mamo Throttle body

I received my LT1 throttle body yesterday I installed it this morning, all I can say is HOT DAMN what a difference, smoother at idle, nice and crisp takeoffs,, no stumbling, makes the car more enjoyable to drive, now I am mad at myself for not making this purchase years ago instead of a competitor, but better late than never, thank you for making such an awesome product 👍🏽.

Yup, I got my installed a few weeks ago too. Meant to post up my review, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Very happy with it. I'll do a full write up on it, but I feel like it's biggest benefit is that you definitely have finer control of the throttle. Definitely make driving more enjoyable.

First upgrade i did to my wifes car. The dead spot in the pedal was extremely annoying.

Is this something you need to have other mods to make it noticeable or can it be stand alone?

Same here...Tracking shows Monday.....Can't wait to get it on there and try it out weather permitting...
Spoke with Tony a few days ago...Super nice guy that's excited to be able to offer a quality part like this...Seems to truly care about the product, it's performance, and customer service...
This will be the first engine aftermarket piece to go on my vehicle...

No.
The throttle plate is bigger so the movement from closed to open happens at a faster rate. So the pedal ends up feeling more responsive because for the most part it is.
The throttle body bore being larger to accommodate the larger plate will allow more airflow across the throttle sweep also. You're probably not going to notice a whole lot as far as that side of it. But It will support other mods like cold air intakes cam upgrades.

This. I can't comment on the overall contribution of the throttle body to my car's improved performance because I added it along with headers and a FlexFuel tune all at the same time. The entire character of the car was enhanced. More power sooner is the best way to describe it.Tipping into the throttle provides immediate response. That part I attribute to the Mamo.
