driver side rear wire harness

hi all,

swapping new wheels on shortly, I have heard mixed things on this topic.

Has the wire harness been relocated to prevent rubbing when going larger wheel setup? I have heard GM relocated it after 2020 (?) not sure on the year.

Is it something to still look at on a 2022 zl1, going 11.5 on the rears with the stock 305 (for now)

Not sure but it's pretty easy to remove the fender well liner and take a look while the wheels are off.

I had my 23 opened up and I looked at it and didn't see a potential problem. I have 305/30/20 OE sizing and just decided to look since I was in there and have no plans to go wider in the future.

I went to relocate my harness on my 2020 for the 1LE wheels and tires and it was already relocated from the factory.....like others have stated it's a quick look and it's easy to do in your garage if you're worried about it.

Great info, had no idea that GM potentially moved the harness already.

It's called "body wiring harness" or "main body wiring harness".
