Estimated HP After Mods/Tune?

I currently have a 2017 2SS, I installed a KN 63 Series CAI, Brisk Racing Plugs, and the AWE Touring Axle Back. The tuner has 2 Inch speed engineering catless headers and an X-Pipe. After tuning how much HP should I expect?

Probably not much since the K&N actually loses power vs stock... the plugs and axle back gain nothing either. So 15-20whp.

All of the basic bolt-on stuff has been laid out and made extremely easy to follow.

Ported stock IM/TB 15whp(not a popular option anymore since the LT2 came out). LT2 Manifold swap and 95tb 20-25whp.
Flex sensor- E85 20-25whp
Catless headers 20-25whp
Rotofab CAI 10whp with all the mods above.

What examples might you have that the K&N loses power? I have this on my car, not that I think I gained anything, but I am sure that I did not lose HP.

Unless you have data logs to back up your claim, King is usually spot on with this stuff since he tunes them FYI… I believe the K&N tube diameter is smaller than stock if memory serves.

Someone showed a dyno a while back where it lost like -3whp on the stock tune because the tube diameter is smaller. After tuning it's a break even / slight gain over stock. Google will provide more examples.

There is a slight difference in ID. Although the OEM tube has an expansion joint
right after the inlet that I believe would disturb airflow.

Pump gas tune alone 91-93 octane you are looking at 15-20 whp. With 2 inch headers and tune probably 30 to 35 whp and torque. I advise you to add flex fuel kit as well so on E you can get another 10 to 15 whp and torque.

Negative my friend. There is NO gain on a pump gas only tune on a stock SS. King’s numbers above are on the money.

I am not going to get into a big pissin match over stock 93 tunes and K&N intakes but I know a few "good tuners" out there that have shared a lot of info with me over the years and none of them see that kind of power gain tune only on 93. The guys I trust see 8-10whp. I have been tuning since 2014 and I don't honestly believe there is that kind of power to be gained either. These engines come aggressively timed from the factory...they are not rich and the intake, exhaust flow really well (enough to support 500bhp easy).

You can make a dyno read anything. Make the stock pull heat soaked, then make the "tune only 93" pull cold, and voila...there is your big gain.
