Arrow FUEL RANGE ???

I recall a thread a while back asking to see peoples fuel range after a fill up. Well, with an E55 blend.... this 900hp ZL1 shows a whopping 166 mile range! Beat that!

It's about 11, but when I drive, I'm usually testing, so I'm going WOT a lot, lol.

When I drive him home about 500-miles (all freeway) on pump 91 (E10), I registered about 29-MPG, and that was against a small headwind, so that's not terrible. My '95 M6 LT1 got about that on the same drive.

Wouldn't it be more effective to find where the perfect blend of E85/93Oct is to gain the HIGHEST MPGs? So far I think the perfect mixture is 14-16% Ethanol as that unlocks more cruise timing without triggering the aggressive fueling to burn what is needed in quantity. So far on my trips driving from my shop in Florence, South Carolina to our house near Road Atlanta which is 266 miles... if I keep the speeds under 80mph, I can get over 21-25mpg. This is in terrain that has many elevation changes... I bet if I were on Sea-Level I-10 run to Texas, I could get even higher.

Click to see the YouTube Short on my last roadtrip!

If there was apples-to-apples evidence, I'd be interested, but there is not.

If I want efficience - I'll run gasoline. If I want safe power, I'll stick to E'. I'm completely happy with my efficiency.
