Good tuner and shop in SoCal

I am looking to do a simple flex fuel tune and transmission tune along with installing a few other parts. I am looking for recommendations on some shops in Southern California. I am in San Diego, but anywhere in SoCal is fine.

I know of Excelsior, Dardan, and Red Barn. Any opinions or other recommendations?

I am familiar with JBA. Thank you.

I was hoping for a shop more familiar with LT motors.

Last i heard he uses a workspace in papini's garage. I had inquired about doing a cam and oil pump a couple of years ago but never actually did business. I didn't know he subbed out the tuning.
For some reason thought New Era was in RC, that's Alexander Esparza? Think I've seen some Facebook posts if it is, seems pretty helpful.

Ahhhh yes! If BRC is willing to work with them I'd hope they would be pretty good. Have seen a lot of praise for New Era on facebook.
Gotcha, then definitely stay away. I sent my car away to someone i thought was trustworthy and had helped me out in the past. However, I was extremely displeased ,to say the least, with the shop afterward. Have made friends with all the people he didn't shitty work for/screwed over haha. Good luck

Does New Era just tune or do they install parts as well?

I had my ZL1 1LE tuned at Church Auto and wrenched on at N7. They share the same building.

I like this combo because it kept the tuner/mechanic from pointing fingers if they had any issues with each other

Car ran flawlessly on E and 91.

Goodluck
