Anyone have a picture of their trunk with all the carpet out?
Trying to install a stealth box and a couple years back I had made a custom fiberglass box with 2 12" subs and I relocated everything from the floor to the sides. I am pretty sure this module on my driver side is hitting the box but I dont remembering touching it. This is a pain in the ass. To make things worse I grinded down all the studs for the mounts on the floor so I get to deal with that after lol. I know the fuse box next to my battery is supposed to be on the floor but I think I can get away with it there.

Whatever the hell 84084066 is, the box is definitely hitting the gray plug. I pulled the carpet thinking maybe I didnt cut enough and then tried fitting the box and it hits. The module is upside down so I am going to rotate it a bit

Well it gets better. Dude I bought the box from on here who also has a 2017 2SS has a completely different module there that looks exactly like the one in the JL pictures. I ****ing cut up my carpet and everything. This sucks.

Its the fuel pump module. You could try taking it out of its bracket and it might give you more room to manipulate it out of the way. Just make sure you dont just let it dangle. Vibration from it just flopping around will probably destroy it.

Thank you fellas. I was all pissed off. Installing that JL box is a bitch to say the least. There are 2 carriage bolts that are supposed to go into a couple OEM holes in the rear deck lid. In order to get them in you need to remove the driver 6X9 which requires taking the whole back seat area apart. I ended up using a stepper bit, drilling holes next to the oem ones so I could get a finger in there then used a magnet to work it through the hole. Yeah I am serious its a bltch. LOL So back to my challenge. I ended up looking at the reviews on JL and there was 1. Funny thing the guys tag was "50th" or some shlt so we had the same car. He said he loosened the "ecu" and meant the FP module and it fit. I went ahead and did the same thing and bam good to go. I wish JL would mention this. Odd that my car is different from others. The guy I bought the box from has a 2017 2SS as well. Why the hell would they be different blows my mind. None the less its in and let me tell you. That box bangs. LOL I hope this helps the next guy.
