[CA Bay Area] Stolen ZL1 1LE - Red, Half Cage
Hi folks, I am sharing the bad news that my ZL1 1LE that I had sold locally a couple months ago was stolen this morning from the owner's driveway in Sunnyvale, CA. The thieves broke the window, started the car, and drove off in less than a minute around 5am today. It's been reported to police and insurance, but I thought I'd post here on behalf of the owner in case anyone sees it, and to hopefully make sure no one buys any stolen parts.
These cars are very rare and hard to miss, so if you see at least a few of the following features: - 2018 ZL1 1LE - Red - TRK ZL1 rear plate; red tow hook in the front - #11 on the rear quarter panels in black vinyl - Red half cage in the rear - Sparco bucket seats in the front - Tinted windows Then it's probably this stolen car -- please notify police and/or message the owner on Instagram if you spot it in person, on any social media, or for sale! How are people still keeping these cars on the driveway without kill switches, especially in California?
Unfortunately it will end up at a sideshow, and then set on fire after. I hope I am not right and I hope they recover it without much damage... |

Gosh Damnit! For the longest time I was trying to figure out a way to fit this car into my stable but just didn't have the room. Sad to see it's now a statistic.

That sucks.
I lived near Mountain View and Sunnyvale at one time. It has always been a better place to live then where I do now. near Oakland |
