I just bought a replacement shift knob and steering wheel for my car. I’m switching to leather but keeping the suede. Coincidentally, I bought a spare suede one about 8 months ago, so I don’t need 3 shift knobs.

Does anyone know if there were any changes to the clips, harnesses, wiring over the years? I found one that had all the same buttons and the color stitching to match the shifter and knee pads. I feel pretty confident nothing changed.

For those who have swapped wheels and tips or pointers are appreciated. I’ve never done one. Videos make it seem pretty straightforward.
