"Clunking" Noise at Low RPMs When Pressing Clutch in 1st to 2nd
Is anyone experiencing a clunk or two with the manual transmission switching from 1st to 2nd at low RPMs? It happens when I'm in 1st slowly taking off and push in the clutch to transfer to 2nd. It's not grinding, vibrating or anything of that sort but more pronounced mechanical "moving parts" sound after the last few miles. I have 265 miles on her now. The clutch operation and shifting feels really nice and smooth. I have read a few threads from several years back and some replied "this is normal for the Camaro". I also understand that I am sitting practically on top of where the transfer takes place. I'm sure I'm over thinking this. Any extra info or recommendations would be appreciated.

Almost sounds like clutch plate is loose. I have noticed a chatter like sound at a light when the car is idling. Otherwise, the shift from a stop can sometime hesitate if you do not catch the clutch exactly right. This is well documented.

I have not heard anything of the sort in the limited miles I’ve driven. Easiest most precise manual I’ve ever driven, free of any noises.

Thanks
Thanks for info. I was definitely over thinking it. My car likes a few more rpms while driving slowly in 1st when depressing clutch to make transfer to second. Absolutely over thinking it!
