Do convertible zl1’s have the aux radiators

Came up yesterday. Just wondering. SS convertibles do not.

The cooling package pic and see this video with Aaron Link, Camaro Lead Development Engineer, at the New York Auto Show launch of the ZL1 Convertible, at 1:19 - “We’ve got 11 heat exchangers on this car, coupé and convertible are the same.”

So the passenger side aux is for engine cooling and drivers side is extension of intercooler? Wild stuff

Yeah, this is interesting. I don’t like how 2, 3, and 4 are “stacked” - that’s cheating. And 1 - are they saying those little metal ribs on top of the engine do anything for cooling?

Once driving across country in the Midwest (Iowa?) with 105 F temps my AC stopped working. Took it to the dealer - no fault codes, nothing wrong. I think it just couldn’t keep up.

They can be stacked because the intercooler needs the coolest air, and the engine radiator can still cool the engine enough w/ the hottest air. Also, for #1 they are referring to the heat exchangers inside the supercharger, under the cover. They are the heat exchangers or "intercoolers" that cool the compressed air after being compressed by the blower rotors.
