Got a bunch of BMR suspension stuff installed

Today I had a local shop install the following parts from BMR:

Non-adjustable Upper Control Arms w/Poly Bushings
Non-adjustable Upper Trailing Arms w/Poly Bushings
Non-adjustable Lower Trailing Arms w/Poly Bushings
Front of Rear Cradle Brace
Rear Cradle lockout Bushing Kit
Differential Lockout Bushing Kit

I didn't have a ton of time to test it out, but I can 100% say that the car feels more stable and planted. I got on it a couple times at low speeds and the car just squatted and took off. Even on the ride home when it was down to 60 degrees outside, I hit the throttle at about 10mph and the rear did not come out at all.

I didn't do all of waht you did, I did the cradle lockout and front of cradle braces, non-adj sway bar, and it's like night and day difference.

How do you like the diff' lock-out? Do you feel any more vibrations?

I have all that, except the diff bushings. I don't think BMR made those when I purchased all my parts. But you are right, the car feels much better.

Question: Did you replace all the TTY bolts when you had this done? There are quite a few bolts involved in those parts replacements.

I didn't replace any of the rear cradle bolts in doing the lockout. I did check my torque a week later, no issues.

TTY, torque to yield bolts, are one-time use. When they are torqued to spec, they permanently stretch and experience what is called Plastic Deformation. They don't bounce back and they will be forever weaker than they should be. All the bolts holding the cradle and the control arm, etc are TTY.

That's why I asked.

Yes, I did use all new bolts, as recommended from BMR. Those actually took way longer to ship out than the BMR parts did.

Yes, there is definitely some enhanced NVH now, but my RS3 is the daily and that already has solid motor and trans mounts, LOL, so my threshold for that stuff is quite high
