Throw back nose stripe

I’m looking at putting a nose stripe on me 6 gen SS. Looking at old pictures of the 68-69’s some have SS at the bottom of the stripe and some have Cubic inch of engine on it. Not sure which I like better. Looked up the cubic inch of the 6.2l and say 376. Not sure that’s accurate.

I think that would look very cool. I had 2015 Vette that I had a pinstriper do the bulge in the hood with a 1970 style LT1 stripe. It looked good and was the only one around. My vote is yes do it.

376 is accurate

Can't say I've seen that type of stripe on a 6th gen yet.

Are you talking about this type of rally stripe? I always really liked those!
Had a buddy with a silver '68 with the "nose" stripe... and of course Cragar mags!

I like the look of it on the 67-68 Camaro, I'm just not sure how it would work on a GEN6 with such a short nose in front of the tires. It would be interesting to see how it turns out.

Also, 376ci would be the conversion from the 6.2L.

Keep us posted if you do the update.

The correct figure is 376 ci that translates to 6161.5 cm3, a bit shy of 6.2 liters.
