Hola Jose, have you tried using launch control? Pre-2019 model years have no menu or any other indication in the cluster, you just switch to sport or track mode, slam the brake pedal as hard as you can and hold it, push the accelerator to the floor, rpms should stabilize at the fixed launch rpm, then you let off the brake pedal. I don't think you even need to turn on stabilitrak competitive mode, but you can if you want to (two quick taps on the traction control button).

Are you saying this doesn't work, ie you redline the car when you try it?

You have to double tap TC off, to allow launch control to work, in addition to being in Sport or Track modes.

So it does need to be in ESC Competitive mode. (This mode does not turn off stabilitrak, but does turn off the other nannies)
