2023 2SS Convertible
Hi all - just joined and waiting for delivery on my new 2SS convertible. Has anyone purchased the extended warranty from the dealer? If so, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

I bought one for my 2017 2SS and it saved me $6k for a torque converter replacement due to the TCC Shudder issues. It sounds like this isnt an issue for the A10's in the later model's though.

I bought an extended warranty for my Yukon Denali, right before the factory warranty ended.
It was bumper to bumper for another 4 years. Cost around $1,500. With all the electronics and gadgets…..it paid for itself like 4 times over. My decision was easy because just one repair can be two grand…. |

If you opt to buy an extended warranty, read the fine print closely. I believe the convertible top, or at least portions of it, are explicitly excluded and that is a costly repair.
There is at least one thread on here listing a couple of dealers that you can buy the GM warranty from at a much lower price than your selling dealer will try and push you into. |
