Belt length for 10% lower and stock upper

Does anyone have the info for a gates belt for 10% lower and stock upper? Should I use the HD belt form gates or the rpm belt? Any help would be appreciated. I looked online and here and can’t get a confident part#.

What size is that, an 8.8" pulley? You gotta be more specific on the sizes and stuff to get a more accurate recommendation or even a recommendation at all.

I just need to confirm. This 8.8 pulley is for the supercharger drive correct?

Yes it’s the super charger driver pulley that mounts to the crank

I can see how you're having trouble finding the right belt for it. Do you know the original supercharger pulley size by chance? I know those run a K080828 belt which is effectively lengthed at 82.80".

You know what. The ATI 8.6 pulleys use a K080839 belt so that should work on yours as well given the 8.6 pulley is literally just .2" smaller than yours. I would pick one of those up in the RPM size and you'll be set to go.

Just an FYI...Regarding the RPM belt...do your research. These belts do not stretch. Do not over tension. I have no belt slip issues now.

This issue only affects vehicles with manual tensioners. The ones which come to mind are the early Terminator Mustangs of yesteryear which used a manual set tensioner. Spring loaded tensioners like ours are not an issue as long as you get the right size.

Granted, any belt is capable of snapping, but that is an inherent risk of running belts in the first place.

Got it. My Procharger tensioner is manual. I just snugged it up.

If I remember right I think Gates came out some literature that said the RPM belts need no more than 30% tension with a manual and 50% tension on their Fleetrunner.

Pros and Cons. I sort of wish we had a manual but the spring loaded ones are super convenient too. Grass is always greener right? Lol.

Thanks guys. I actually had the 8.8 ATI which is for the corvette dry sump and won’t work. I ordered the 8.6 and I have a stock upper so I assume the belt I need is the 25-080839HD.
