Sound tube delete torx size
Does anyone know the size of torx bolts on the bracket mounted to the motor for the sound tube? I’m doing the delete but I don’t have any torx and would like to go purchase the correct one or minimal kit……

It's a T45 bolt. I was able to get a sinle bit for a 3/4 inch drive from home Depot when I did it a couple years ago. I remember it feeling like a lot for a single bit, but was bigger than what was included in most sets.

Honestly for 20-30 you can get an entire Lenovo torx set on Amazon. Granted not snap-on quality but fine for basic diy use. That’s what I did.
