How many daily their ZL1/E with a car seat?

I've owned mine for 1.5yrs, daily drive which includes daily hauling my 4yr old around. We've put 30k miles on the car in that time, all smiles and zero regrets.

Last month I got a wild hair one weekend morning when it rained and stopped so while her momma was out we had a little fun. Now anytime it rains and we're pulling in the driveway, I'm requested for some donuts. I always do and always will.

Anyone else?

Weather permitting, I drive it daily but it's not a commuter.

Donuts with the kid, love it! My 2 year old loves riding in the Camaro as well.

Those are some expensive donuts! I thought the kid was asking for the sugary kind. I daily my ZL1 (3x/wk into the office), and on wknds when it’s nice. I will typically work from home if it’s raining and for sure when it’s snowing. I occasionally put my 3 kids in the ZL1, usually to take to Tae Kwon do classes, but the youngest is 8 so I’m years past car seats.

Drove with my little one for about a year until we swapped daycares. Now mom takes her.

She didn't like taking turns "fast" at first but as she got older (around 16 months or so), she would say "wwwweeeee" and laugh a little. Still does even in the truck or mom's car even though we're not going as fast in the turns.

Mine is daily, in Michigan, real daily, snow or no snow. Sometimes with kids, when "family car" is not available.

Glad to hear there's others using their cars with the car seat. I do feel a little sorry for when someone has to ride shotgun at work since they can't push the seat all the way back, but eh, lol.

The first time she felt the pulling power, way before donuts, she wanted to go again and again. She looks forward to exit ramps off the interstate, for the cornering fun and surprisingly loves to stop fast as well. I really hope she continues on this path of cars and fun, but never will push it on her. May regret this some when she gets some keys of her own, lol.

I drive my ZLE at least 3 days a week to take my young ones to their extracurriculars.

I have a forward facing car seat for my 3yr old + booster for my 6 yr old.

Looks like rear view mirror still is useful, assuming pre-19! While 1 isn't a problem in the Camaro, I think I would draw the line with 2 car seats. I don't think I'd have enough leg room.

One thing I do recommend is a longer bungee cord of some sort. I clip it to the headrest post and attach to the bottom of the seat. Keeps the seat forward during normal driving, much less fun driving.
