It lets the driver adjust the sensitivity of the accelerator pedal. You’d be surprised how much adjustability there is between the mildest and wildest settings. I’d still be running it if I could. I removed it in order to install the JMS fuel pump booster (they both plug in at the same place in the wiring harness).
