Ozarks International Raceway - questions for those who have been

Going to Ozarks International Raceway for an event soon, and I haven't had any call back or return email from the track or event organizer about a couple of things. If anyone who has been can answer, I'd appreciate it:

- Do they have 93 octane at the track and if so how much? Road Atlanta was $5.68 and Barber was like $4.29 or so in February.

- If not, how close is a reliable 93-octane station?

- Is there plenty of paved parking for trailers, and with the elevation changes, is it fairly level? I was surprised at how steep a good amount of the Road Atlanta pit trailer / race vehicle parking area was.

Any facility info you want to share, or good places to stay and eat, it all would be appreciated.

Thanks for any guidance.

OIR racetrack

I was at OIR last October with NASA for a opening event. The pits aren't to bad
on one side of garages its flat but only for short trailers, the other side falls off
fairly quickly but plenty of room for long trailers. When I was there no fuel at the track, if fact the bathrooms weren't up and running yet, only porta pottys.
As for +93 i'm not aware of anything close, the track is out away from the normal tourist area's so figure about 30 min drive to restaurants.

Now to the good part! The track is unbelievable! More than likely your first session will be follow the leader with a pace car to get familiar with the track,
and believe me you will need it, it is difficult. there are lots of long sweeping high speed corners, blind hills and corners, right past start finish line is a steep high speed downhill braking zone to a severe off camber left corner.

Watch all the videos you can find to get familiar with the track-- the videos don't accurately represent the elevation changes at all.

Good luck and keep it on the track!

Here's a post on the tracks Facebook community section from 6 days ago. This would give you a good idea on lodging, food and fuel options. I was going to go with the express crowd again in a few weeks but changed my mind. Have fun and be safe. One hell of a rollercoaster ride no doubt.

Thanks for the info. Was debating towing or just throwing wheels / tires in the car. Think I will tow and take (a bunch) fuel jugs of 93 with me.
