Anyone have a 1SS 1LE with Interior spectrum lighting?

I have a 2020 1SS 1LE. My dealer installed the Structura Interior Spectrum lighting & footwell kit. GM Part#84043877.

The lighting changes with the drive modes. But I do not have the interior lighting menu to manually select the colors through the infotainment.
The service writer is saying my radio is not compatible. I asked if the tech reprogrammed the BCM AND the HMI. Service writer said he would check with the tech and call me back. The kit came with an authorization code.

I read the other threads where a member here had issues with his dealership to properly update his radio. I pm'ed him but haven't heard back.

Anyone else run into this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.

From the post I have read over the years several people have tried installing the 2SS or 2LT info system and still have not had any luck integrating the aftermarket lighting systems. If I remember even an electrical engineer tried and had no luck getting it to work. Curious if anyone did get it to work. I would think someone would be selling a kit if they did.

Sounds like the dealer just missed the programming step. Althought it is possible that since they discontinued the kit in 2021(?) that it might not be possible on a 2021. Even the IOB radio can use the kit but in that case there is a switch panel to control the lighting which I beleive goes where the hud control goes in the higher end cars.

I've read that the spectrum lighting requires a compatible HMI module to be able to manually select the color. Without buying an HMI module from a car that has that capability and programming it for your VIN, your out of luck.
