Interior Ligts
So, I'm guessing the interior lights of my '23 2SS 1LE are supposed to gradually brighten and dim but instead they go up and down in definite steps. Is that a common issue or can it be fixed. I still have about 2 weeks of bumper-to-bumper warranty left!

Mine does the same, stepping up & down. So I guess it's normal? Mine is a '23 1SS

The brightness transition is completely smooth on my 2018 2SS, as one would expect. Perhaps GM changed this with the 2019 refresh.

Mine does it in steps also. I have a 22 LT1. Found the issue in the owners manual.

Looks like I'm taking her for her first trip to the dealer before the warranty runs out in November. I'll report back.

Mine kind of fades in steps too, but honestly the only times I've noticed is if it's dark out. Otherwise, I can't tell it's doing it.

I wanted to follow up on this. I took it to the dealer; it was still under factory warranty. My first Chevy and my first experience with a Chevy service department and they sucked, so I'll be looking for another dealer.
They told me that the stepping down in the theater lighting was due to my ambient lighting package, blaming the dealer that installed it. I explained to them that my car is a 2SS and therefore it came from the factory with the ambient package, to which she says, "well there's no info from Chevy so there's really nothing we can do". For those of you that replied that your lights step also, can you tell me if you have the ambient lighting package and if it's factory or dealer installed? It's a little thing, but it really bothers me.

I guess I've noticed it occasionally on my 2020 2SS, but it doesn't really bother me. Doesn't seem to do it all of the time, but I haven't really paid attention to how dark it is outside, current voltage, etc.

I've got a 24 2SS with dealer installed footwell lighting, but factory cups, door panels, and radio.
