Roto Fab Install Issue

Attempted to install my Roto Fab yesterday on my ZL1, the elbow seems to put a lot of pressure on the A/C lines , I don't want to force the box and elbow to hard, anyone have this issue??/

Thanks in advance

Did you use a zip tie to secure the 2 hoses and a/c line as shown in illustration 6 of the installation instructions? Your airbox maybe slightly bent and did you replace all the rubber grommets off the original airbox to the Roto-Fab?

That explains it, purchased it new in box , missing instructions , looked like it was opened already. I'll try to down load them from Roto Fab.

Thanks

Okay. If the box was opened when you bought it then some of the parts may not have been in the box. You can check the parts list when you download the installation instructions.

I was wondering what that was about when I looked at the installation instructions...I figured it had something to do with the routing of the Roto-Fab or it was larger than the stock plumbing???

That is what I love about these forums...thanks for the help LT4Greg

Glad I could be of help to you! Enjoy that Roto-Fab and the sound of the s/c now.

Make sure after installing the Roto-Fab you tighten the clamps after driving due to the heat cycling of the engine. It tells this in the install instructions! Since installing mine I have tightened my clamps several times over the course of 2 weeks.
