Who makes it? I seen it priced for $54 for 12 quarts. SAE 5W-30 2 DEXOS GEN 2 FULL SYNTHETIC.
Seems like a great buy.
Yea or Nay? Or stick with 0-40 wt?

Have you done an internet search to find any info on that brand? I have never heard of it or saw it for sale anywhere. I would stay with the major name brands but you know it is made by a major oil company so you probably would be okay to use it. Hell, last oil change in my ZL1 I used Lucas Synthetic 5w30 and haven’t had any issues. I used to use it all the time in my 2005 Silverado truck and it’s still going as of today with around 93,000 miles.

Costco has a 5/30 Dexos oil that's dirty cheap that has received great reviews

stick with Mobil 1 or Castrol 0W40 Dexos 2

Not familiar with it. I would stick with a proven brand like Mobil 1 since it is not too pricey.

You can get Mobil 1 5W30 at Walmart for $24 for the 5 quart jug. All day everyday.

Makes sense. 0w40 is higher viscosity than 5w30.

Best deal period ! Mobil 1 dexos2 12 quart, And have 2 quarts left over , use the 2 quarts to add oil oil every 5th oil change is free !(It might take a while but a $50 save is still 50 bucks !

Just to clarify, Walmart sells a 12 quart jug of Mobil 1, Dexos2, 0-40 weight for $50?

It's not the Dexos 0-40, don't think that one is Dexos at all. Definitely not the ESP 0-40. They have a 5-30 Dexos Mobil1 12 qt box though.
