Fuel Pressure

What fuel pressure is the low side pump trying to maintain? Ive been watching the fuel pressure with my aeroforce gauge and it seems to be between 45 and 55. I am going to get my nitrous bottles filled, but may have the wrong fuel jet in. I have it jetted for 55 PSI. Now I'm thinking it needs to be jetted for 45. Also, what's the minimum pressure I want to maintain to safely supply the high side? I tried to search this, but couldn't find any actual numbers.

Since you have an Aeroforce gauge you should be able to view the commanded fuel pressure.

Heh, i thought it could read what HP tuners could as far as logging parameters. Looks like I was wrong.

Here is a list of parameters the gauge can show.

General Motors (CAN vehicles) – CN series gauges - Pg.2

I'm watching the fuel pressures. That's how I know where mine is jumping around from. I got the answer to my question. Its 55 PSI.

So is 55 the pressure the low side is trying to maintain or is 55 the minimum to maintain safely to the high side? Also what source did the answer come from?

55 is the pressure the pump is trying to maintain!

Class

Right now i am going through an automotive class and need in-depth specifications on the fuel system of my 2018 Camaro SS. I've been looking and will continue looking until i find something. Does anyone have a certain website that gives a break of the fuel system primarily.

Not sure about websites, but here's the detailed description of the LT1/LT4 fuel system from the 2018 service manual (although it looks more like an LT1-specific description to me). Hope it helps.
