Vengeance racing, Texas Speed, Late Model Racing, GPI. Lots of shops. Don't think you need to turn these motors 9000 rpms. Typically shorter stroke motors are better for turning higher rpms, such as a destroked small block. Most really bad ass LT motors probably don't exceed 7500. I ran a small block back in the 80s that had the best shit you could buy back then and we built it to turn 8800 and that thing screamed on alcohol but it still had its limits being a pushrod motor. The Copo's are turning those motors 9700 or higher, 350 cubed Ls7 with a Magnuson 2650 and they are upwards to $50,000 motors that make 1400 hp. Good luck on your build.

Late Model Engines is tops IMO. Katech is good too.
